Twenty-Something...

It's all coming to an end. I'm not really thinking about it, nor bothered by it. It's not like having my age tick along makes me an older person... well it does, physically. However, the concept of age has kinda lost it's meaning on me.

If you're learning, growing and doing something new and interesting pretty much by the day, is that not the opposite of aging? Have you not noticed it is those who are merely existing, who are not doing anything with their lives mainly the ones who are worried about their age? Because if you let time slip, that's when you're setting yourself up for regret. And when you do the opposite, what's there to fret?

Three decades? Been a wild ride. Loved the scenery and God, thanks for getting hold of me halfway through. Here we go, if there's more moons to come.

Identity Crisis, anyone?

I ask, "Why?".

There are useful things, and there are marginally useful things. This is neither of it. You really think you'll honestly know how clean you are? After all the attention is gone, when the guests have left, will you truly be happy? Is it worth the trouble? The ink? Choosing toilet paper is no longer simply a grab and go event. Now we have to deal with choice. Dinner menus, TV channels, hair colour, yes, yes and yes. This? Thank you very much.
